How do we access Tordrillo Mountain Lodge from Anchorage?
Commercial flight into Anchorage International (ANC), shuttle transfer to Lake Hood Seaplane Base (AK 99502), and a 40-minute scenic floatplane or ski-plane flight directly to Judd Lake. 7-day winter packages include a pre-trip Friday hotel room at the Hotel Captain Cook in downtown Anchorage.
Are alcoholic beverages and bar tabs included in package rates?
No. Gourmet meals, non-alcoholic beverages, and high-altitude snacks are fully included. Premium wine selections from our 500-bottle cellar, spirits, and bar tabs are billed separately as extras at departure.
What powder and safety equipment is provided for winter heli-skiing?
We provide BCA Float avalanche airbag packs, Mammut digital avalanche beacons, shovels, probes, and top-end powder demo skis and snowboards.
What is the guest-to-guide ratio?
Maximum 4 guests per guide per Eurocopter AS350 B3 A-Star helicopter. Each group of 4 guests enjoys dedicated flight time allocation.
What is the deposit and cancellation policy?
An initial 50% deposit is required at reservation booking to secure heli seats and suite availability. Final balance is due 90 days before arrival. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
What fly-fishing equipment is provided during Kings & Corn and Summer?
Winston and Sage custom fly rods, reels, Simms waders, boots, flies, and custom heli-drop river transport to untouched streams.
Can we reserve a private whole lodge buyout?
Yes. Private buyouts are available for The Main Lodge (up to 12 guests) and Judd Lake Lodge (up to 8 guests) with dedicated helicopters, private chefs, and custom flight scheduling.
