Gourmet Alaska Cuisine, All Day Long
At Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, the cuisine is part of the adventure. Your day starts with a breakfast buffet that includes fresh fruit, homemade pastries, and a hot dish; all served with international coffees and teas. Homemade soups, gourmet sandwiches, and loaded brownies fuel the back half of the day.
And always feel free to help yourself to anything in the refrigerator or pantry. Dinner is nothing short of a gourmet gastronomical experience, replete with suggested wine pairings.
Seasonal, Local Ingredients
Our courses feature seasonal herbs and fresh vegetables from our garden, Alaska seafood, and regional game dishes. Fresh Kachemak Bay oysters, white king salmon, Alaska king crab, halibut, black cod and scallops are some of the local specialties you can expect to see featured as appetizers and entrees, along with specialty game dishes such as elk, lamb and pheasant.
Guests who choose to eat their catch can choose from the many preparations from smoked lox to table entrees. Special diets are also accommodated with advance notice.
A Wine Collection as Impressive as the Tordrillos
Along with our reputation as a world-class heli skiing destination, Tordrillo Mountain Lodge boasts a sophisticated wine collection. Our 500-bottle cellar houses top-shelf wines from around the world that are selected by sommeliers who know our menus and our clients' discerning palates.
Bins include Italian greats like Sassicaia, Ornellaia, and Gaja, along with award-winners from Bordeaux, Napa Valley top picks, Pacific Northwest pinots, and premium selections from Australia and New Zealand.
