Three Aircraft. One Purpose: Putting You in the Right Place.
No Roads. No Trails. Everything Moves by Air.
Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is accessible only by floatplane or ski-plane from Lake Hood Seaplane Base in Anchorage. Once at the property, every expedition — every fishing river, every ski zone, every hiking ridge, every glacier — is reached by helicopter.
This isn't a constraint. It's the defining feature. The aircraft fleet allows TML to access terrain and wilderness that no other operation in Alaska can reach. Your pilots have thousands of hours in the Alaska Range and know every valley, every weather window, and every landing zone.

Three Aircraft. Purpose-Built for Alaska Wilderness Operations.

Eurocopter AS350 B3 A-Star
Customized ski baskets, high-altitude alpine power, primary ski and summer expedition aircraft.

De Havilland DHC-2 Beaver
Amphibious floatplane transfers between Lake Hood Anchorage and Judd Lake.

Piper PA-18 Super Cub
Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) capabilities for remote terrain reconnaissance.
Safety is Embedded in Every Flight Decision.
All flight operations are conducted under Alaska aviation safety standards. Weather minimums are strictly observed — flights are cancelled or rerouted based on guide and pilot assessment, never guest pressure. Safety is non-negotiable.
