KINGS
& CORN
Cast. Carve. Repeat. Under the Midnight Sun.
Alaska's most unique multi-sport adventure: morning corn skiing on spring-softened glacier runs, evening trophy King Salmon fishing on untouched rivers — all under 22 hours of endless Arctic daylight.
Two Alaska Bucket-List Adventures. One Five-Day Experience.
When June arrives in the Alaska Range, something rare happens: the high-elevation snowpack softens into perfect corn, the rivers run clear and cold with returning King Salmon, and the sun barely dips below the horizon. Kings & Corn was built to capture every hour of it.
Corn Skiing
High-elevation glacier runs with spring-hardened corn snow. The same terrain as winter — but now accessible under perfect visibility and warmer conditions.
King Salmon
Helicopter access to pristine blue-ribbon rivers during peak King Salmon run. Trophy fish on fly gear, guided by master Alaska fishing guides.
Midnight Sun Schedule
Weather and conditions dictate the exact schedule — but the rhythm of corn and kings defines every June day.
Gourmet Breakfast
Hot breakfast in the lodge dining room. Eggs, freshly-baked pastries, Alaskan smoked salmon, locally-sourced ingredients.
Morning Ski Briefing
Terrain selection based on overnight temperature cycle. Ideal corn conditions scouted. Safety gear fitted.
Heli-Ski Departure
Lift off from Judd Lake. 10–20 minute flight to high-alpine spring terrain. Guides lead first runs.
Corn Skiing
Multiple laps on spring-softened glacier faces and open bowls. Long, high-visibility runs under clear Alaska sun.
Field Lunch
Mid-mountain lunch with hot soups and sandwiches. Spectacular views across the Tordrillo Range.
Return to Lodge
Return to Judd Lake. Swim, paddleboard, or rest. Hot tub and sauna open.
King Salmon Departure
Afternoon helicopter flight to prime river fishing water. Guides set up stations. Trophy King and Silver Salmon targeting begins.
Evening Fishing
Premium fly and spin fishing for King Salmon, Silver Salmon, and Rainbow Trout. The river runs clear gold under the midnight sun.
Late Dinner
Return to lodge. Gourmet dinner served featuring the day's catch when available. Stories from guides. Single malts. Stars barely dark.
TAL RIVER · ALASKA RANGE
"The helicopter sets you down at the river bend just as the evening sun turns the water to copper. The Kings are stacking up at the seam. Your guide already sees them."
Remote Rivers Only Accessible by Air
We reach fishing water that no boat or trail can touch. Every fishing location is selected by our Alaska guides for peak King Salmon concentration during the June run.
Wild King Salmon on Fly and Spin Gear
All high-end fishing gear is provided. Winston and Sage rods, custom Alaska flies, and spin setups. Guides work every run to position you on active fish.
Lodge Dining. Wilderness Trophy Fishing.
Your catch can be prepared by the executive chef for a multi-course dinner. The rest of each day is yours: sauna, paddleboard, rest, or more helicopter access.
