Travis Rice’s Natural Selection Tour at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge
February 2, 2021
The 2021
heli skiing
season at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge is shaping up to be a season unlike any other. One reason: The world’s top male and female snowboarders will be carving down the Tordrillos in March as part of the final stop of the
2021 Natural Selection Tour
. Spearheaded by renowned snowboarder Travis Rice, the tour will deliver a world-class competition that combines freestyle tricks with freeriding artistry set on big mountain terrain.
Kicking off in February 2021, snowboarders will compete on some of the world’s most exciting terrain in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Baldface Lodge, British Columbia, and Tordrillo Mountain Lodge. Top finishers will go head-to-head right here in Alaska, where the best mens and womens all-mountain freestyle riders will be crowned in late March. Snowboarding in Alaska has never looked so good.
“For snowboarders and skiers, Alaska represents the ultimate venue for freeriding,” Tordrillo Mountain Lodge owner Mike Overcast said. “It is only appropriate that the Natural Selection Tour crowns its world champion in Alaska.”

Visiting Tordrillo Mountain Lodge
While we wish everyone could experience front row seats to the final event of the Natural Selection Tour right here at Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, the competition is a true backcountry style event, accessible only by helicopter. However, we invite you to visit our remote, multi-sport, luxury lodge to take on the Tordrillo Mountains yourself any other time. You’ll quickly discover there’s nothing like the Tordrillo range. Visit our
