How do we get to Tordrillo Mountain Lodge?
Fly commercial to Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC). Our shuttle transfers you to Lake Hood Seaplane Base (5 minutes from ANC) where you board a private floatplane or ski-plane charter directly to Judd Lake (40-minute scenic flight).
What is included in the package rate?
Packages include floatplane transfers from Lake Hood, luxury accommodations, gourmet Alaskan dining, guide services, safety gear, and assigned helicopter flight time. Bar tabs, wine purchases, massage therapy, retail items, and gratuities are extras.
What safety equipment is provided for heli-skiing?
Every guest is equipped with a BCA Float airbag pack, Mammut digital beacon, probe, and shovel. Our lead guides conduct daily snowpack forecasting and avalanche safety briefings.
Do I need prior heli-skiing experience?
Guests should be strong intermediate to expert skiers or snowboarders comfortable in off-piste powder. Groups are categorized by ability (max 4:1 ratio per guide) to match pace and terrain preference.
What fishing equipment is provided in summer?
We supply top-tier Winston and Sage fly rods, reels, flies, waders, and boots. Guests are welcome to bring personal gear if preferred.
